Product Introduction
Sodium-based bentonite waterproof blanket is a new type of
geosynthetic material mainly composed of sodium-based bentonite
particles and geotechnical fabric through specific processes.
Sodium-based bentonite, also known as sodium-based montmorillonite,
can swell more than 24 times when it comes into contact with water
and forms a stable colloidal waterproof layer through needling
technology. Due to its unique waterproof properties, this material
has been widely used in various fields.
Product Properties
Sodium-based bentonite waterproof blankets have the following
performance characteristics:
Swelling in Water: Sodium bentonite expands when it comes into contact with water,
forming a uniform colloidal system with high viscosity and low
filtrate loss, thereby exhibiting waterproof properties.
Durable Waterproof Performance: Due to its unique waterproof mechanism, sodium-based bentonite
waterproof blankets can provide long-lasting waterproof effects.
Environmentally friendly: As a natural and environmentally friendly impervious material,
